our history is full of repressed spiritual practices. we were made to adopt other spiritual practices such as christianity, and we made that ours too. finding connection to faith in the story of Moses, who set his people, Gods' chosen people, free and led them out of Egypt. We saw ourselves as God's chosen people, and we would set ourselves free.
