Der Bjarnarfoss ist ein weiterer beeindruckender Wasserfall an der Südküste der Snæfellsnes-Halbinsel mit einer Fallhöhe von etwa 80 Metern, die er in zwei markanten Stufen überwindet. Die Klippen rund um den Wasserfall zeigen zahlreiche übereinanderliegende Lavaschichten, darunter auch typische Basaltsäulen.

The Bjarnarfoss waterfall on the south coast of the Snaefellsnes peninsula (West Iceland) is not as wide as many of the well-known waterfalls, but has a drop of 80 m.

Oh look, it's yet another #waterfall in Snaefellsnes peninsula (West #Iceland)! This one is called #Bjarnarfoss. It's that waterfall you can sometimes see in the distance in photos of the black church at Buðir. It's a rather tall one at 80 meters. This is just the lower part of it, and my favourite part.
