The ITUC conference in Melbourne today is arguing for a global treaty on mandatory due diligence. A big ask, and I wonder whether a treaty could do more than establish general principles, but it shows that the international trade union movement, which is often marginalised in #BizHumanRghts #BizHR discussions at the UN, supports moves towards #mHRDD .
