i say thank you because i am doing exactly what you were talking about: watching #comedy to sooth my midlife crisis, after a lifetime of abuse & neglect.
i can tell you, it helps me so much, to cope & process what's happened to me but also to learn to look after myself & be my own parent, to learn to 🖤 my self.
only then can i #recover & build my life successfully.
you guys are my age, & it's just giving me a feeling of belonging, like, as in our #genX family. your conversations are just so recognisable with similar experiences despite growing up in different countries & cultures. it helps me recover.
