I was eating fritos at my post back when I was a guard at the Intel plant. I dropped one and this little fella (a scrub jay) came and scooped it up almost as soon as it was on the ground!
I wasn't too worried since Fritos are basically just corn, oil, and salt so nothing a bird can't digest in small amounts.
(Also if anyone could send my husband and I some Fritos I'd be glad, they're almost impossible to find here).

A few more of my bird photos from this afternoon.
This may have been the first time I've managed to get some decent photos of a bird as small and flighty as this fairy wren.
I think this is a male in his "eclipse plumage", i.e. the less colourful feathers they wear outside of the breeding season.

@Thomas_Llama and I saw a merlin (𝘍𝘢𝘭𝘤𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘶𝘴) while walking through the neighborhood this morning!
Too far away to get a decent picture, but I'm posting it nonetheless because it was a cool moment.
