I awaken to the ratatat-tat of what I surmise is a woodpecker or a wannabe of some kind. I am surrounded by trees so question "why me, Lord? " i am in a gentle place today so I lay here and will let nature be. If the house collapses because of a myriad of holes attributed to carpenter bees and birds looking for a meal, well, so be it. Mother Natures got to do what she "do"
