My ride took me to Rookery North again today and arrived just in time to see two Bitterns circling over the reeds. Suspect it was a male and female in a courtship flight. There was barking, almost like ravens #Birdingbybike

Will go ‘looking’ for Bitterns today. This year, reports hopefully indicate that they are increasingly established here. A bird that there is no disputing it’s presence when you hear it. #birdingbybike
