I was explaining to GF last night about all the science that #NASA does above & beyond just shooting stuff into space. Things like "how do you get x ppl to live in a confined space for years without going insane or killing each other". One of the things that experiments like #BioSphere (despite not being NASA related) was trying to assess.
After explaining what BioSphere was she exclaimed "Wait you mean that stupid movie with Pauly Shore was a real thing?!?"
