The trio were ably supported by two great sets: the first from Harry Irvine, with a percussive improvisation bordering on the shamanistic; and the second from Bill Thompson (@Prof_lofi - pictured) with a beautiful impromptu set that moved from dense droning passages to a finale of delicate staccato moments.

An incredibly powerful gig by the trio of Eddie Prévost, Silvan Schmid & Tom Wheatley tonight at the Old Hairdressers in Glasgow.

Intense, visceral playing, with the fluidity and near-telepathy of collective improvisation fully in evidence: it was a joyful reminder we should try to *be* in the present moment—as the musicians did—without dwelling on the past or the future.
