J’adore les vidéos de retrouvailles entre animaux...Les sons sont très émouvants.
Surtout les ânes, pour une raison mystérieuse : leur braiment est incroyable.

Out March 13 - Bill Orcutt “Music In Continuous Motion” LP / CD from Palilalia
"Music in Continuous Motion, Bill Orcutt’s latest entry into his 21st-century repertoire of quartet guitar music, pointedly steps away from the cut-and-paste constructivism of Music for Four Guitars into a sonic stratum that's yearningly melodic, resolutely human, and built for performance.”
Guitarist Bill Orcutt has been releasing work that's built around his mastery of the instrument in a distinctive, improvisational style that's simultaneously restless and meditative, discordant and mesmerizing.

Bill Orcutt is a guitarist extraordinaire, composer, and one restless soul whose career has had a few turns over the years. He started out as a member of the experimental noise trio Harry Pussy in the '90s, which led to a career of guitar centric music that borrows from blues and folk, cast in a droney style and with an otherworldly presentation that borders on the avant-garde. He has been releasing a series of recordings (except for the break he took from music in the '00s) that come across as either instrumental exploration disguised as soul-searching, or the other way around. The core of his music is improvisational and it is built around his masterful and technically sophisticated guitar work, where he can get quite discordant at times, but always maintains an essential hypnotic quality.

Out November 14 - Bill Orcutt “Another Perfect Day” LP / CD from Palilalia
Here are a few kind words about the release from Tom Carter:
"...this may be Orcutt's most overtly punk-rockist record since Gerty Loves Pussy, his first solo electric LP from a decade ago. It's an affirmation that Orcutt is above all a lead player—angular runs scaling the heavens, ricocheting back to ground zero before climbing again."
