It'll be so much easier to shout, "Neither do you!!!" than, "well actually, the federal #GasTax covers a small and shrinking share of the cost to build and maintain roooaaaaaaddddddssssssssss.......!!!" #BikeSky

Every one of these idiots risked a head-on collision to overtake me at high speed on a blind curve...only to get to the exact same place at the exact same time as me. #ChapelHillNC #BikeSky
Hey #bikesky, I've got an old winter beater - an old 3x7 speed hardtail mountain bike that I guess would be a hybrid these days. I've done gearshift and brake work but never replaced one. After winter biking and brute forcing it I think the front derailleur is dead. Is this something I can diy?

So.... I'm trying out Hey.CafΓ© and a woman from Winnipeg posts a photo of her favourite bike. It's a vintage Dutch Bike. I say "if you're from Winnipeg and you're riding an #omafiets, you must know my friend Anders".
Of course she does!!
I love being Canadian πŸ˜‚

Vancouver, you're not alone unfortunately. Toronto hasn't held a single open streets event since 2022 whether it was OpenStreetsTO (Bloor & Yonge) or the ActiveTO major road closures such as on Lake Shore West! These events are needed to encourage physical activity! #shame #BikeTO #BikeYVR #BikeSky

Thanks @[email protected] for sharing the English translation of this insightful column by Dutch architect Harvey Otten which compares parking a car with lugging a lawn chair around and leaving it somewhere. #BikeSky #BikeTO #ottbike #TOpoli #ONpoli #cdnpoli hansonthebike.com/2026/03/01/p...

Dutch architect Harvey Otten argues that free parking in the street is not a birth right and the cost should not be subsidised by others

And that was before they spotted the ultimate accessory: a cat in my backpack She liked this ride on the bicycle way more than a ride in the car. Clearly my own blood. #bikesky
