When I do a long ride, I always prioritize exploring and taking some photos rather than focusing on my average speed
A big part of my ride was on a canal. The surface of the path was sometimes challenging: paved or rough blocks of concrete. But most of the time it was smooth and enjoyable

Yesterday, sunny spring is finally coming, so it was time to do a long road bike ride. I prepared my itinerary with #komoot, for exploring a new area: south of #brussels.
I avoided the large roads, but sometimes the road surface was challenging for my road bike.

new tires, brake cables, and replacement rack ordered for my avenger. I think instead of a klunker build I'm just gonna try to make my current #bike work even if it's a bit short.
next step is gonna be researching crank arms for it. the bottom bracket is some kind of proprietary mess.
I'm probably gonna take some of the bags off of it as well. I carry a lot *on* the bike that I could carry on me.
