Did some work today on Ruby's daily driver and touring bike! Been a while since I've done more than small adjustments. Some right-sized tires and shiny new fenders on Ruby's bike is bringing me a lot of joy!

Our third wedding anniversary is in a few days and I wanted to get this done for her before then.

This 6% downhill sign at the end of Kelly Drive has never made sense to me. It’s rude as it is since there is a slight uphill approaching Ridge Ave.

I’m not sure if there used to be a spur going down to where the Wissahickon meets the Schuylkill? Anyone know anything about this?

Has anyone here ever biked to the Mann Center? We have tickets to see Jurassic Park with a live orchestra, and later in the year Samia and boygenius, and it looks like biking might be our best travel option. But we've never attended any events at the Mann, AFAIK.

Is the bicycle parking reasonable? I think I found the bike parking on Google Street View, and it looks like a standard crappy bike rack randomly sitting in the grass next to a surface parking lot.

This past Wednesday I joined the #rideofsilence in Philadelphia to honor the 12 cyclists killed in the last year just in our area. It was a great ride.

We know how to lower all traffic deaths for any mode: Infrastructure! Protected bike lanes, bus lanes, streets that are built to lower speeds

I wish it was easier to hear them read the names and stories of the riders we’re there for and the route instructions. The news helicopters didn’t help.
