Today I had to lift my bike into a snowbank to park, and bike in traffic next to the inconsistently cleared protected bike lanes, which had windrows across the entrances, and somtimes a windrow right in the middle. Most drivers were great, only 1 illegally close passed me. Of course the roads have been perfectly cleared for over 24h now. They FINALLY got to the sidewalks and bus stops 12h ago. But nobody bikes in winter, so why bother making sure it's safe to do so. #BikeHFX #Halifax #BikeTooter
