Wüsste die Organisation, was sie alles weiß, wäre so manches deutlich einfacher. Das Problem ist jedoch, dass das meiste Wissen implizit und somit unsichtbar ist. Die Kunst besteht darin, diesen Wissensschatz zu heben und das implizite Wissen explizit zu machen. Denn nur, was wir explizit machen, können wir in der Organisation bewusst reflektieren. Erst wenn das implizite Wissen sichtbar wird, können wir Zusammenhänge erfassen und erkennen. Das ist einer der Gründe, weshalb ich vom visuellen Management in Form eines Obeya so fasziniert bin. Schaffe einen Ort, an dem alle relevanten Informationen sichtbar werden, bringe die Menschen, die es braucht, um Entscheidungen zu treffen, dort zusammen und sorge dafür, dass sie gemeinsam über das sprechen, was sie dort sehen und erkennen. So erzeugst du einen Raum für Austausch in Richtung eines gemeinsamen Ziels.
