Actor Desmond Wilson, is dead after battling cancer at 79 in Palm Springs, where he was an ordained minister.
The actor, whose full name was Grady Desmond Wilson was best known as Lamont oft aka "you #BigDummy" on 135 episodes during six seasons of Norman Lear's ‘Sanford And Son’ series, usually opposite Redd Foxx.
Wilson had six children after marrying fellow actor Cicely Johnston in 1974, the couple stayed together until his death.

Tonight I looked up options to attach a Burley Piccolo trailerbike to a Surly #BigDummy #CargoBike and couldn't find anything better than the guide I published on my blog, so I cleaned it up and republished it. My DIY solution lasted 10 years until the kids outgrew it.
