It's so refreshing that more and more hotels use #reusable bottles of #vegan products and take into consideration the environment so they decide to stop selling water in plastic packages.

P.S: I tried to find someone to host me through #bewelcome but I had no luck. Similar thing happened when I went to Oslo. Is this platform even alive? I wonder.

Tomorrow I am heading to Vilnius where I have friends who will host me for the weekend but I am looking for a more community based experience in Kaunas if anyone has any idea!

@gblanc05 Franquin était un génie au grand cœur.

Pour la petite histoire, il y a très longtemps j'ai hébergé (via Bewelcome) un Belge fan de Franquin qui est venu en stop de Bruxelles voir une expo sur lui à Paris, déguisé en Marsupilami (avec la longue queue et tout). Il a mis 4 heures, autant dire qu'il n'a pas eu à attendre du tout !

@haraldgeyer Hm, #BeWelcome and #Romeo also do not have "elaborate registration checks" (Email suffices).

But at leat BeWelcome has a safety team and a moderation team you can report to.

Ja, seitdem #couchsurfing Gebühr kostet (für jeden, nicht mal "nur host" kostenfrei), hat die Community leider stark nachgelassen (verständlicherweise)
Ich streue und gucke in verschiedenen Communities.
Ich habe noch einen #warmshowers Account, schaue bei #1nitetent und #WelcomeToMyGarden - aber ich bin auch mit dem Zelt unterwegs

Dieses Dachgeber scheint mir unpraktikabel - wer schleppt denn ein 260 Seiten Buch mit... Und auch allgemein

l'alternative prioritaire pour moi est l'hospex (hospitality-exchange), en français on dirait plutôt hospisol (pour hospitalité solidaire ,o)

On a:
- warmshowers pour les cyclistes
- @bewelcome pour tout le monde

Ces deux alternatives sont vraiment à soutenir à donf!!
