Today's adventures have involved:
Eating cheese,
Buying a dishwasher,
Eating cheese and crackers,
Failing to plumb in a dishwasher,
Eating cheese and cold meats
Cursing the dishwasher
Opening a nice bottle of red to accompany some cheese
How's your day going?
Lads, it's "Betwixtmas."
As in, "betwixt and between."
Not (pfft) "Twixtmas."
BETWIXTMAS.

In Scotland, the days between Christmas and hogmanay are known as "daft days."
Along with many others, I like to call these days "Betwixtmas."
HAPPY DAFT DAYS OF BETWIXTMAS, Y'ALL
Now we are in the lacuna days. I wrote about this pleasant period last year

I just realised, I'm not so much looking forward to #Christmas, as to #Betwixtmas.
You know, betwixtmas? The point where all the food in the house is either leftovers, chocolate or cheese and you're mostly on the sofa like some sort of festive walrus.
But somehow, there's always enough food for a picky tea.
