Berwickshire High School has a remarkable music department. Last term was a brilliant production of Chicago, followed 2 weeks later with a Christmas concert. This Burns concert is a new venture and will feature a wide range of soloists and ensembles from across the school. They always present a good show with impressive young talent to the extent that locals with no connection with the school are also regularly in the audience.

John Lamont won #Berwickshire with a majority 1 shy of 6600 ahead of the SNP on a 61% turnout.
That was an increase in majority of 451 but a drop of 10.5% in turnout.
The south of Scotland is clearly overrun by economic migrants crossing the Tweed to take advantage of all the benefits the #SNP has introduced here.
