video games always do stamina as a resource that stops when it runs out
but my ADHD modifies how it works for me
as long as I don't stop, I can keep using stamina-based actions infinitely, but it goes into the negative
so then when I do stop, it takes longer to recover to the point where I can do anything
my Vyvanse makes me a little better at noticing when to stop, at least
I feel like that might make an interesting game mechanic, tbh
like the berserker that keeps fighting even into negative hit points
an adhd scout that can run non-stop for days, but ends up sleeping for like a week after
