Today's walk took place in Oberschöneweide. This is where AEG built large transformers and where electrification in Germany was initiated.
During GDR, large pruduction sites were placed in this area. After 1990, industry mostly vanished from this area. It's currently home to a Hochschule in the old inudstry buildings and actually have a lot of space for new businesses.

Made a trip to Checkpoint Charlie today. I usually avoid very touristic spots (too crowded, too many people). But the weather was so shit that it was okay 😅
