The Trump administration’s pattern of granting sympathetic, right-wing influencers with large digital followings
special access to its mass deportation operation
is broad and involves dozens of people.

TPM - Talking Points Memo

Ok y’all, let’s talk about #Chicago, and “Operation Midway Blitz”, where #ICE is embedding reporters from Real America’s Voice News like Ben #Bergquam. Ben, RAVN and the White House are publishing videos of Ben hopping out of a car with ICE goons and yelling at a group of Chicagoans who are gathered to prevent ICE operations that they are “the enemy within”.

Now, I’m not in Chicago, I don’t live in Chicago, but I have traveled around the globe many times, and Chicago remains one of my favorite cities in the world. The people are wonderful, the culture is amazing, some of the best jazz north of New Orleans that can be found, museums, galleries, comedy clubs, evening supper clubs, it is one of the most multicultural, amazing places I’ve ever been.

And just like DC and LA, ICE isn’t going to venture into the South side gang lands. They’re picking up little old ladies from bus stops. They’re terrorizing carpenters and maintenance people, waiters and busboys.

Fuck ICE. Resist.
