Benedetto ("Saint Benedict") clinging to the side of the mountains above the town of #Subiaco, Italy. The place is built around the "Holy Cave" ("Sacro Speco") where Saint Benedict lived as a hermit in the early 6th century.
Amongst the frescoes inside is the only depiction known of St Francis painted during his life.
