The glass ceiling tiles at the #BelleIsle aquarium in #Detroit were designed to give the visitor the illusion of being underwater. Designed by Albert Kahn and legendary Detroit architect George D. Mason, the aquarium opened in 1904, and after a brief closure and some updating, is now open to visitors again.
