Small but mighty Nuxalk Nation basketball team wins B.C. provincials
The Acwsalcta Thunder, a high school girls basketball team from Bella Coola on B.C.'s central coast, made history over the weekend as the first team from their community to win a provincial basketball championship. The team, made up of just eight players, won first place in the Single A high school championships in Langley.
