NAMM 2021..... The NAMM That Isn't...

So one positive I'll grant to this year's NAMM (that isn't).
The whole idea of being able to stream in and having a chat system to communicate with booths and reps is really super cool (in theory).
Unfortunately how it works out in practice is a bit messy..... for example, I constantly have to do page refreshes in order to see updates to the chat window. Also, having wait times just to watch what has often been just pre-made/rendered videos and things just feels disingenuous.
As an aside to the above, it was $500 to get a "virtual" booth for this years NAMM, which just strikes me as dumb given virtualization near completely eliminates physical overhead.
Oh..... and at least as of so far, I've struck out on shirts......
