At least nine people died and another twenty were injured in Beit Shemesh, an Israeli city near Jerusalem, where a ballistic missile from Iran struck and reduced an entire house to rubble. Rescue efforts are still searching for possible victims trapped inside. Among the seriously injured is a child.
The Iranian attack comes as retaliation following the joint US-Israeli raids that led to the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
