Did a stout fridge cleaning with some cans that have been sitting in my beer fridge for years...

Sadly nothing held up, so everything pretty much got drain poured.

According to an email I got from #GrainstoreBrewery, it's Cask Ale Week from 18th September to 28th September. I couldn't actually see it on their website.

Maybe I should order some more Ten Fifty, which they've stopped comparing with #Ruddles County.

The first photo is a dish of Pupusas a Salvadorian (also enjoyed in Honduras) which apparently is considered a flatbread, although in terms of texture and taste, it's closer to a tortilla. I had always considered it to just be a stuffed tortilla lol. I grew up eating these, and it's been YEARS since I've eaten them, and the one in The Port of Call in Mystic, CT, tastes just like the ones I had as a child.

Second photo was monkfish, but I don’t remember exactly what else came on it. The monkfish alone was delicious, the best way I can describe the flavor is it having a very mild and ever so lightly sweet taste, it did not taste fishy at all, it just had a very clean and wholesome flavor.

Third photo is a dish of empanadas, also very delicious and highly recommended.

Fourth photo was some kind of bread pudding? I wish I had jotted down what it was exactly, but I do remember it tasting very good!

Fifth photo, a nice tall glass of a Lager by New England Brewing Company.

Sixth photo, a cocktail. Do I know what it is? Nope lol.

Venturing out to the New England region has made me love seafood when I never used to before, because for me personally I couldn't stand the smell or the taste, it just always felt like I was eating something that was on the verge of spoiling. So trying out the clam chowder, the shrimp, fish 'n chips, and even the lobster roll, I was surprised that there was no fishy smell or taste in any of those dishes, there was a clean and wholesome taste in these dishes. The beer in the fourth shot is a Long Trail Ale by the Long Trail Brewing Co.

This wouldn't be the only time I'd eat at a seafood restaurant out in this region!
