Llevo literalmente 3 o 4 años dándole vueltas a la idea de comprar un #NAS, y la conclusión es casi siempre la misma: cuesta demasiado para el poco partido que le voy a sacar.
Básicamente lo quiero para dos cosas: nube de fotos y datos, y Plex. Lo de Plex lo he solucionado con un SSD externo conectado al Mac, que va de maravillísima. Tampoco soy un hoarder que tenga mil cosas.
Para el tema de la nube personal.... le estoy dando una oportunidad al #Beestation de #Synology. Vale 3 veces menos que un NAS, y es una mezcla entre eso y disco duro conectado, te creas una nube propia y solo eso.
Mi idea ha sido comprarlo para devolverlo en cuanto vea que no me convence al 150%. Ya os iré contando.
@CptSuperlative @nazgul Between those two, best to go with the “value” model. J series will be deprecated since the #BeeStation model will fill its place.
Also, the 4bay gives more options including the fact you don’t have to start with 4 drives but rather 2. Finally it is a bit more powerful and also has more potential in terms of apps than the J lineup.
