No bees in there, so nobody got bothered (them or me).

These two hives are somewhat intact, or at least one. Might be worth saving as I have a ton of frames for them in the beekeeping shed (and even more in the attic). Needs cleanout and some repairing though.

For now I just parked them by the fence so I can clear out the junk underneath.

The bees are finding a lot of yellow pollen today, no idea what is is, no bees in the trees here. Easily 90-100 bees per minute with pollen.

Honig gilt hier seit der Antike als wichtiges Nahrungs- und Heilmittel; schon Aristoteles beschrieb die Imkerei als göttliche Kunst. Noch ist die Bienenzucht für viele griechische Familien ein Bestandteil des Lebensunterhalts.
