When my tummy feels unwell, I eat plain rice congee. These are #classic #Chinese #fermented #foods - all pair with congee. I ran out of salted ginger with soy beans & dried shrimp - two other preserved #Asian foods I eat with plain congee.

My tummy will feel better soon. I had a big bowl of plain congee with these 3 foods for my breakfast.

Another day, another bread, based on a recipe for a couple of sweet potato and feta cheese bloomers.
Based on, because you can't even buy bad supermarket feta cheese here, so I used preserved bean curd instead.
Feta cheese would have made for prettier slices but in terms of taste the bean curd is an excellent substitute.
