We're in absolutely no danger at our place from flooding (hooray for being on top of a hill), but the wind is ferocious. Tore down the awning on a gas station nearby. Trees down everywhere.
Power is out all around us and at least one nearby friend not only doesn't have power but also doesn't have cell service.
