sgt1372#NBC #BayAreaSports has apparently plugged the steaming gap & no longer allow me access to the Giants games via their website or app for free w/o paying an outrageous fee just to watch the games on #Comcast. 🤷♂️
So, I'm limited to "watching" the games now via #ESPN #Gamecast or just by reading the box scores.
In any event, I certainly didn't miss anything today in the Giants 0-4 loss to the #BlueJays to start the 2nd half of the season.
Verlander started the game but lasted only 2.2 innings after giving up 9 hits, 2 BBS & 4 runs vs 4K based on just 66 pitches thrown.
On the other hand, the Giants were shutout despite getting 11 hits (& no walks) but left 9 runners on base & were 0-9 with RISP.
So, it wasn't as though the Giants didn't have a chance to score. They just didn't. Oh well . . . 🤷♂️
