JohnI really enjoyed the live audience voting in the #RobotRampage World Cup. I always play that game at home anyhow - trying to guess what's going to happen before it does is a really good prompt to thinking more deeply about what you're watching. And if you've followed me for a while you've seen me put out polls on this sort of thing.
So, yes, I'm very glad to see #BattleBots will be doing something similar with their new show. They won't be live, so it's a little different, because some small minority of the votes know for a fact who wins, but still... it's a nice gesture.
#NHRL does live shows, and are generally quite good at being online. I wonder if they've experimented with this sort of thing as a live-audience engagement thing before?
