De 83-jarige John Cleese keert voor de nieuwe serie terug in zijn rol als de neurotische Basil Fawlty en neemt ook het script voor zijn rekening.

In memory of #BernardCribbins yesterday, I watched the episode of #FawltyTowers called #TheHotelInspectors in which Cribbinsโ character was the main antagonist for #JohnCleese as #BasilFawlty. Cribbins usually played very mild and likeable characters but here he portrayed a troublesome and cantankerous person and did so very well, with hilarious results.
