Air Space Restrictions: There is no Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) in place over the fire but if an emergent need arises, one will be put in place to protect firefighting aircraft. For the safety of all pilots, citizens, and firefighters, please avoid flying in the fire area. Please remember, any unaccounted-for aircraft, including drones, puts aerial firefighting resources and lives at risk. If you fly, we can't. All firefighting aircraft have to be grounded if unmanned aircraft or drones are operating near the fire.
Evacuation Levels and Road Closures: There are no evacuation orders in place, but residents and travelers should remain aware of the wildfire burning in the area north of Prescott off Barstow Road.
Resources: We estimate 110 personnel currently working on the fire.

The following is an update from Southeast Washington Interagency Incident Management Team:
Estimated Size: 1543 acres
Containment: 37%
Start Date/Time: 6/22/2025 around 5:41 PM
Area of Fire: 12 North-Northwest of Prescott WA off the Barstow Road
Update: Yesterday, resources assigned to the Barstow Road Fire worked to secure control lines around the fire’s perimeter. Three strike teams of wildland engines and two hand crews were successful at completing containment on the heal of the fire along Barstow Road area. Hand crews and engines will be actively improving and securing containment lines around the head of the fire along Canyon Bottom Road. Today crews will continue securing the perimeter and mopping up hot spots. Today we will fly an infrared flight over the fire to look for any remaining hot spots. Increased temperatures and winds at five miles per hour are expected across the fire.
The fire is managed by incident management team personnel supported by Washington Fire Service Resource Mobilization Plan. Walla Walla North County Fire District and WSP are the cooperating agencies for this incident.
Weather and Fire Behavior: Today will be hot with highs above 90 degrees. East winds are anticipated at five mph.
