Sadly the Netherlands is a country with a very limited sense of history. His name is now unfamiliar to most people working in ceramics and his work is not very well represented in museum collections.

Guul Jacobs and his wife Fransje van Keulen have long since become dear friends. Their encouragement and support to set up my own pottery has been of great help.
Last month they both recieved a well deserved knighthood for their contributions to the world of ceramics.
