About a few hours I travel to Brussels for my lesson and rehearsal #BaroqueOboe and Pluto takes care of our house.
And another day to study on the first part of a sonate from Christoph Förster (1693-1745) on one of my oboes. I use an urtext that is based on a manuscript which is saved in the Library of the Conservatory in Brussels. There is only one recording of this piece, by Paul Dombrecht. He was teaching at the Conservatory of Brussels at that time. #earlymusic #BaroqueOboe #baroque_music

Had some problems with #reedmaking for my #baroque_oboe the last few days but with tips and tricks from my teacher #NeleVertommen things got better. I had also the opportunity to see an reed made by #MarcelPonseele (no, I don't share a picture of that in public) Time to study some more music again. I'm working on a sonate from Christoph Förster, currently working on the ornaments and improvisation in part 1.
