@blookins I remember when my parents bought our first #Commodore64 when I was 15, I had already been playing games like #BardsTale, #Zork, and programming on #Apple computers in the school computer lab for 2 years.

I got a wild hair to play the Japanese version of The Bard's Tale on NES, which has some text and art that was cut from the NA release. Of course, I have to make a map too!

It's a nice evolution of Wizardry. Combat is slower than I'd like, but has some great options. I took one character of each class, and so far the thief and hunter are not pulling their weight.

I know it's supposed to be actual beer, but I think that "root beer" in the #NES version of #BardsTale is more charming. Even better that you drink it in "one shot."
