A view inside the Baptistère Saint-Jean at Poitiers, France, showing the guard rails around the former plunge pool where adult conversions to Christianity were performed since C4. After most adults had been converted, original baptistry buildings eventually became redundant and either were destroyed or changed usage(like this one, which became a C7 church depicted here). So it is rare to experience a much restored example relic from times past.
