@randfish all of United States society is too busy working themselves into an early grave just to achieve the (actually mostly unattainable) dream of becoming rich or lucky enough that the bullshit somehow doesn’t affect them anymore. Many of that same rat race also cheer loudly for their own exploitation and lowered wages due to a complex web of anti-labor propaganda, astroturfing, poor shaming, and victim-blaming.
