We kick off 2026 ready and raring to go! And to begin we are calling all bands who play Nwothm/Epic/Heavy-Doom and all things in between! Do you have a new album coming out that you want the world to know about? Maybe you are quite new and want to get some exposure? Or maybe you have a big tour coming up that you want to raise awareness for? We might be able to help.

(We only accept nwothm/nwobhm/epic/heavy-doom and may consider some crossovers like speed and power metal)

For a review: please send us a digital copy (email to request a physical copy review) of your album/ep along with band photos, a bio, links. Please make sure all files do not have an expiry (we get a lot of emails each week). If you prefer to send a physical copy please let us know in an email.

For an interview: We are always looking for bands to interview! So drop us an email or make yourselves known and If you fit what we cover, we will be in touch!If we have sent you a mailer interview, please return your completed questions with band photos, a bio, links and any exclusives you want us to include in the write up.

FAQ:

Can I send a physical copy for review? At this time, it is much easier for us to review digital copies of albums, etc and it also saves you money on sending out physical copies. But if you prefer to do so drop us an email!

What genres do you cover? We primarily cover nwothm, epic heavy metal, heavy-doom and nwobhm. We are finding more bands blending heavy metal with the likes of speed metal and power metal so we also cover crossovers.

Can I send you my album from last year? No, we only cover new releases (within 1-3 months) and reissues. However, please build a connection with us and we will keep you on our radar for future coverage.

Where does my music, news etc get promoted? If we end up covering your band a post will be created on the site. This is also pushed out to all our social media like Facebook, Instagram etc We also encourage bands to share our content we create about them and link back if possible.

आज MSP की मांग को लेकर पंजाब में किसानों ने किया बंद का आह्वान, जानें क्या-क्या रहेगा खुला

Punjab News: कई किसान संगठनों ने 30 दिसंबर यानी सोमवार को पंजाब बंद का आह्वान किया है। भूख हड़ताल पर बैठे किसान नेता जगजीत सिंह डल्लेवाल के समर्थन में यह बंद बुलाया गया है। खास बात है कि बिगड़ती तबियत के बीच डल्लेवाल को चिकित्सा सहायता देने की कोशिश की जा रही है, लेकिन वह इनकार कर रहे हैं। वह 35 दिनों से अनशन पर हैं।

किसान मजदूर मोर्चा (KMM) और संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा (SKM गैर राजनीतिक) ने बंद बुलाया है, जो सुबह 7 बजे से लेकर शाम 4 बजे तक प्रभाव में रहेगा। डल्लेवाल सभी फसलों पर MSP यानी न्यूनतम समर्थन मूलाय समेत 13 कृषि मांगों को लेकर अनशन कर रहे हैं।

क्या खुला क्या बंद

बंद सुबह 7 बजे से लेकर शाम 4 बजे तक रहेगा। इस दौरान मेडिकल केयर समेत जरूरी सेवाएं जारी रहेंगी। साथ ही बारातें भी बगैर रोक टोक निकल सकेंगी। किसान नेता सरवन सिंह पंधेर ने कहा कि सोमवार को पूर्ण बंद रहेगा, लेकिन आपातकालीन सेवाएं चालू रहेंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्र किसानों की मांगों को सुनने के लिए तैयार नहीं है।

उन्होंने कहा, ‘बंद सुबह सात बजे से शाम चार बजे तक रहेगा। हालांकि, आपातकालीन सेवाएं चालू रहेंगी। इसके अलावा, उड़ान के लिए हवाई अड्डा जाने वाले या नौकरी के लिए साक्षात्कार देने वाले या शादी समारोह में शामिल होने वाले सभी लोगों को बंद के आह्वान से बाहर रखा गया है।’

शिक्षण संस्थान- खास बात है कि पंजाब में अधिकांश स्कूलों में सर्दियों की छुट्टियां चल रही हैं। ऐसे में बंद का खास असर पड़ने की संभावनाएं कम हैं। हालांकि, कई उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों ने शेड्यूल में बदलाव किए हैं। पंजाब यूनिवर्सिटी ने शनिवार को जानकारी दी है कि सोमवार को होने वाली परीक्षाओं को मंगलवार को आयोजित करने का फैसला किया गया है। गुरु नानक देव यूनिवर्सिटी में भी सोमवार को होने वाली UG परीक्षाएं अब 12 जनवरी 2025 को होंगी।

फल, सब्जियां और दूध- ट्रक संचालकों की तरफ से किसानों को समर्थन दिए जाने के चलते मंडियों पर असर पड़ सकता है। साथ ही दूध विक्रेताओं ने बंद के दौरान काम नहीं करने का फैसला किया है। ऐसे में बंद के घंटों के दौरान दूध की आपूर्ति प्रभावित हो सकती है।

परिवहन- लुधियाना ट्रांसपोर्ट डीलर्स एसोसिएशन और स्टेट ट्रांसपोर्ट डीलर्स एसोसिएशन ने ऐलान किया है कि सोमवार को शाम 4 बजे के बाद ही परिवहन सेवाएं शुरू होंगी। इधर, किसान यूनियनों ने राजमार्गों और लिंक रोड्स पर 200 से ज्यादा स्थानों पर चक्का जाम का ऐलान किया है।

ईंधन- जरूरी सेवाओं प्रभावित न हों, इसके चलते पेट्रोल और डीजल पंप संचालित होते रहने के आसार हैं। हालांकि, LPG सिलेंडर की आपूर्ति प्रभावित हो सकती है।

सरकारी दफ्तर- सरकारी दफ्तरों के सामान्य रूप से चलने की संभावनाएं हैं। हालांकि, ट्रांसपोर्ट में होने वाली रोक के चलते कई कर्मचारियों को कार्यस्थल पर पहुंचने में परेशानी हो सकती है। ऐसे में उपस्थिति कम होने के आसार हैं।

150 ट्रेनें रद्द

प्रदर्शनकारी किसान कई स्थानों पर सुबह 7 बजे से लेकर शाम 4 बजे तक रेल की पटरियों पर ब्लॉक की तैयारी कर रहे हैं। ऐसे में उत्तरी रेलवे ने 150 ट्रेनें रद्द करने का फैसला किया है। इनमें नई दिल्ली और वैष्णो देवी और नई दिल्ली से अंब अंदौरा स्टेशन के बीच समेत 3 वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस भी शामिल हैं। इनके अलावा चंडीगढ़ और अजमेर के बीच चलने वाली वंदे भारत की दूरी को कम किया गया है।

रद्द की गई ट्रेनों में नई दिल्ली से काल्का, चंडीगढ़ और अमृतसर जाने वाली 3 शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस को रद्द किया गया है। साथ ही पंजाब, हरियाणा, चंडीगढ़, जम्मू और कश्मीर, हिमाचल प्रदेश और उत्तर प्रदेश जाने वाली कई ट्रेनों को भी रद्द किया गया है।

नहीं मान रहे डल्लेवाल

रविवार को पंजाब सरकार की तरफ से गठित की गई एक टीम ने अनशन कर रहे डल्लेवाल को चिकित्सा सहायता लेने के लिए मनाने की कोशिश की, लेकिन उन्होंने इनकार कर दिया और अंदेशा जताया कि उन्हें विरोध स्थल से हटाने के लिए बल प्रयोग किया जा सकता है। यह घटनाक्रम ऐसे समय में हुआ है जब उच्चतम न्यायालय ने डल्लेवाल को अस्पताल न भेजने के लिए पंजाब सरकार की कड़ी आलोचना की।
