It’s my birthday & I’ll ask for the immediate national ban & collection of guns that have the potential to fire (or be adapted to fire) more than 6 rounds per minute if I want to.

As if a school shooting wasn’t awful enough it looks like it will result in some stigmatising talk about the shooter’s identity.
So, just for the record I’m pretty sure if we don’t want our children to grow into alienated adults who don’t feel empathy we need to show them unconditional love & acceptance for who they are when they are young.

@asociologist @DemocracyMattersALot I always wondered exactly what good obfuscating the windows would really do. It tells the shooters someone is likely inside and there are literally no limits to how much ammo they can buy, so why isn’t the assumption that he will simply AR-15 blast a whole magazine through the door, hoping to get lucky?

These people do not need to take aim, they need to switch high capacity magazines and for their weapons not to jam.
