Whoa, I got #CircuitPython to connect to my #BambuLabs 3D Printer using Bambu Cloud (local connection not working yet, I think that's because local uses MQTT 3.1.1, not 5.0)

@derphilipp Die Geräte BambuLabs sind gut und dafür vergleichsweise günstig. Haben aber eine Art vendor lock-in der für Einsteiger kaum zu umgehen ist. Noch günstiger sind Alternativen von Creality oder AnyCubic die aber ggf. etwas mehr Einarbeitung in Dinge wie Slicing und Kalibrierung erfordern. Prusa ist natürlich auch Gold-Standard was Support, Qualität und Nachhaltigkeit angeht. Das hat leider auch seinen Preis. Ich würde (ich habe) mit einem günstigen Creality angefangen um in das Thema reinzukommen und bin immer noch sehr zufrieden damit. #creality #anycubic #prusa #bambulabs #3Dprint #3Dprinting #3Ddruck
