The #Swedish_Coast_Guard has detained the cargo ship #CAFFA in the #Baltic_Sea, which was sailing under the #Guinea flag. The crew is suspected of operating the vessel “under a false flag.” According to #Sweden’s Minister of Civil Defense, #Carl_Oskar_Bolin, the ship is on #Ukraine’s sanctions list.

#Russia's flagship oil price plunged to the lowest in over 2 1/2 years last week, days before #US sanctions on #Russian oil producers, #Bloomberg reported, citing #Argus_Media.
The price of the #Urals grade plunged as low as $36.61 a barrel from the #Black_Sea port of #Novorossiysk, the lowest since March 2023. Similar declines were recorded at #Baltic_Sea ports.
