Saint Petersburg would be much better off as an independent city state than member of the Russian federation. The Baltic Sea region is a powerhouse for all it's neighbors, it has never before been as strong, vibrant, wealthy and united as it is now.

The Baltic Sea region is and will be a benefit for the European community and it's allies and friends -in many ways.

Sucks to be Saint Petersburg, it's missing out.
