I’ll be sharing recordings of last year’s talks while also announcing this year’s speakers.
Visibility for us, knowledge for everyone :)
Help out with likes and reposts, but most importantly — with views.

Before announcing the speakers, we want to thank those who helped select them. It was outstanding work and a perfectly structured process. Many thanks to every member of the program committee!

If you’ve also just woken up after the holidays, we’ve extended the CFP deadline until the end of January. Bring your fresh ideas to share with the community. We’d love to hear from you.

Why do we do Baltic Ruby?

Because we can’t not do it.
Because #Ruby is more than a language — it’s a mindset, a culture, a joy.
Huge thanks to our organizers Ali Krynitsky & Sergey Sergyenko and the whole @cybergizer team.

Let’s do it again in 2026. 🫶

After #balticruby - the RubyGems feature of a Trusted Publisher allows the gem to have a Sigstore record saved about it, which is rather cool.

I wrestled with this one, the first of many that we will need to introduce this for:
https://rubygems.org/gems/faraday-net_http

(The faraday gem already has this set up, it was all the other middleware and adapter gems that needed it.)

Read more about Trusted Publisher in this little website: https://segiddins.github.io/are-we-attested-yet/

I didn’t have a lot of time outside of #BalticRuby to explore Riga but it’s a very pretty city (especially when the sun comes out!)
