This afternoon the boss said: "Seeing as it's sunny and it probably won't last, I suggest a trip to a nearby beach." It helps that I'm the boss, so off we trotted, on what turned out, the nearer we got to the coast, to be very bumpy and poorly maintained single track roads in which the suspension took a hammering. Anyway, per the name plate in the picture, we made it to #Ballyheigue, with the tide on the way in and nearly at its highest point. Managed a walk on the sand and back to the car park, and then to the local #Centra for a very welcome ice cream. Sometimes bosses make the best decisions. Bonus views of Mount Brandon and the Connor pass on the Dingle Peninsula in the distance.
