Longest ballot protest group returns, targets byelection in Terrebonne
The group that recruited hundreds of people to run against Pierre Poilievre in last spring's election and last summer's byelection says it's now targeting the vote in Terrebonne.

#MissKittyPolitics #AI #Research because I give good prompt. - #AndyOgles must be impeached. I don't have high hopes that #MikeJohnson will do the right thing. This is all coming down to #Showdown2026. I hope you are screaming at your elected's about #laws to protect your #ballot boxes. Read my pin.

@davoyager

the #Democrats do suck. it's not just #Fetterman. many go "aw shucks" and then speak for their special interest donors instead of the people

but

the Dems are also #AOC, #Mamdani, #Talarico, #Warren, etc

so

we show up in the #primaries and get 50 Mamdanis on the #ballot for the November #election

if instead someone goes "Fetterman exists, therefore all Dems are the same as the #GOP" they are #trollfarm from the right working a divide and conquer angle, or they are a moron

Please, y'all, suggest to me how we can change the voters' landscape:

What accommodations can we provide to ensure that each of us can vote --- on time, locally, and accessibly?

At first thought:
- #Voting Centers with full #ADA compliance.
- #Multilingual ballots.
- On-hand translators, especially those with experience in #SocialWork and #MutualAid.
- Access to a mail-in #Ballot for EVERYBODY.
- Perhaps an App per-state for State elections and one app for federal ones, or maybe State-local apps would assist state citizens in federal votes.
- An open, public database of those in-office and running-for-office, with campaign positions, past vote stances, proposed legislation, and economic relations (to prevent #InsiderTrading and #PublicAbuse).

What else would y'all like to recommend?

A quotation from Ambrose Bierce

BALLOT, n. A simple device by which a majority proves to a minority the folly of resistance. Many worthy persons of imperfect thinking apparatus believe that majorities govern through some inherent right; and minorities submit, not because they must, but because they ought.

Ambrose Bierce (1842-1914?) American writer and journalist
“Ballot,” “Devil’s Dictionary” column, San Francisco Wasp (1881-04-23)

So I stepped back and I'm thinking about other things. I don't know where it will all land for sure. I did say I would #walk those two states even if I didn't get on the #ballot, but that was in the #context of I would be running as a write-in candidate in those two states. #Reimagining. Maybe same.
