@TomaszSusul Absolutely gorgeous, Tomasz. I have shot many, many #ballets in my pro career, and this image is one I'd be very proud of.

When shooting #ballet and #dance, it is not about stopping action, that is easy with a fast shutter speed and ISO. What matters is capturing the emotion, what the dancer is trying to say with his/her body.

And you did that beautifully here. Bravo.

Just saw 'Tanaquil Le Clercq: Afternoon of a Faun' on PBS abt amazing ballerina cast in her 1st role at 15 by Balanchine (later married) who choreographed #ballets for her, as did Jerome Robbins & Merce Cunningham.

B4 Euro tour in 1956 the company got Salk #vaccine, except Tanny, who wanted to wait, bc it might affect her dancing that night. On the tour she came down w/ #polio, never walked again.

Don't delay getting vaxxed!
